Irish Premiership side Portadown hammered Ballinamallard, 11-0. Ballinamallard finished with nine men and  were hit with a blitz of late goals. This is the joint largest margin of victory in an Irish Premiership match with the last score of this magnitude being Distillery’s 11-0 defeat of Bangor in 1966. Ironically Ballinamallard had on of the leagues best defensive records prior to this match having only conceded 3 goals in their opening 5 league matches.
