Cambridge United stay top of the Football Conference thanks to a somewhat unimpressive 1-0 win at Hyde , who were down to 10 men for much of the match.  They remain top on goal difference from Nuneaton who had a good 2-0 win against Wrexham while Halifax replaced Southport in the play off places thanks to their 1-0 win over them. Forest Green who much is expected of kept in touch with the leaders thanks to a 2-1 win at Chester.
