  1. what a shit club, how many time have spud won the premiership title ?.never. how many time have spuds been champions 2 times 3 times 4 times. sick to death of this poor club thinking there up there with arsenal.mind the gap

  2. Again, you clearly did not get what he was saying. His point was not that he does not want to get Townsend called up after only 2 games, it was that he did not want him to get called up for one game and then dropped and never called up again if they do not remain in the Tottenham first eleven or if their form drops since it can have a negative effect on the player. Hence why he gave the examples of Livermore, Huddlestone and Caulker.

So no you didn’t get what he said.

  3. Great signings by Spurs. If we can add Chicarito’ from Man U then we can do the double this season and the treble next season.

    COYS.

  4. I know that, but the whole press conference made me feel as though Townsend was going to be regulated to the bench even after his very good performances this year. The reason those guys were forgotten is because they weren’t consistent and Andros has been and everyone should know that by his performances at QPR last year where he was the best player in that team. He has continued that form and the way AVB said it made me have doubts over his continued presence in the first team. Thats it.

  5. I did. He was saying it could be a little too soon to make a call up based on two good games, but Andros was doing this last year at a terrible team in QPR. This isn’t just two good games, this is a combo of last year and the consistency he has showed this year. It just seemed like he wasn’t as enthusiastic as he could have been about a very talented young british talent which is what you want as a Spurs fan. So yes I got it and still think he could have said it differently.
